Voyager Announce New Album ‘Colours in the Sun’
Voyager, a prog outfit from Australia, have just announced the release of their new album ‘Colours in the Sun’ for November 1st 2019.
In conjunction with this, they’ve released the music video for their lead single ‘Colours’. This is following up to the single ‘Brightstar’ which came out a few months back. ‘Colours’ is equally as synth heavy as ‘Brightstar’, as well as being packed to brim with catchy melodies. ‘Colours in the Sun’ will be Voyager’s seventh studio album in their discography.
I first saw Voyager at the Underworld in Camden (UK) as a support band for Uneven Structure. This was shortly after their release of their 2017 record ‘Ghost Mile’, which subsequently blew me away. Their intrinsic melodies caught my attention and led me to picking up said record, and exploring some of the older songs in their catalogue too.
With a European tour coming up, will we be lucky enough to see them play some new tracks live?
